Rapid mental health changes from my phone!

I found UpLife at a very opportune time. I was in therapy for 8 years and could not reach the level of emotional maturity I have with UpLife. I am experiencing bipolar depression right now. UpLife has helped me realize that low points can be gifts. One of the gifts of this depression is that I have undergone a speedy transformation of my whole understanding of myself. I have finally taken responsibility for myself after 55 years of destroying relationships with friends and family, being let go from healthcare providers, not making my own decisions expecting everyone else to solve my problems and just overtaxing everyone I came in contact with. UpLife Explains very complex concepts and psychology in a way that’s digestible. It gives examples of concepts and then immediately gives multiple journal prompts. The journal prompts build on each other. At the end of each series, your journal entries are presented back to you, so you can read it or bookmark it. It also lets you bookmark different thoughts, activities and meditations. It asks if you want daily reminders on some of the important ideas to continue to practice. UpLife has helped mein so many ways with my mental health issues. But, this has been the first real breakthrough I’ve made with my BPD in my 55 yrs. UpLife is an OUTSTANDING mental health app!

While I go to EMDR therapy, which has been amazingly helpful and life changing, I realize I needed something on a daily basis for more healing. This helps me be in depth and really focus on healing and improving areas of my life. Some areas I knew needing healing, some I was not aware I was doing. Every morning I lay in the bath and listen, then write out any questions or in-depth questions they have. I really appreciate this app and I needing something like this in my life right now.I thankfully got out of a 20 year abusive relationship, physically, emotionally, sexually (which I did not even know sexual abuse in marriage could be a thing). Lots of areas to improve and move past. I refused to stay in that dark place anymore. I know I’m smart and strong and can do anything I put my mind to. I feel like I’m finally learning to have a voice and take up for myself. I think I’m now taking up for myself in a way I needed to when I was a child and no one else ever did or could. Between this app, therapy and book, and the realization that I do in fact have a very loving support system (I was blind to it before) I know I can be a truly happy person. For the past 3 months I have become the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I did not know it was possible to be this happy and this at peace. I know I will get even better from here. Got to use the tools and walk through the doors God give me.

I’ve only been using UpLife for a few days now, but I can tell you that this is the best $35 I have ever spent in my life. This app has been a godsend. For the past year, I’ve been trying to find a therapist with no luck. I then went searching through the App Store to see if I could find an app that would help me sort out my feelings and frustrations about my life. Came upon UpLife and decided to give it a try. I love how the app guides you through various Frameworks such as emotional intelligence, which I’m working on right now. The app not only sets the context and gives you examples but also gives you exercises to work that really help you pinpoint what is causing your pain. You immediately feel so much better after going through one of the modules. I think the developers are under pricing this app. Really.

While some complain about the price, I think it’s an affordable and quick way to get support for issues someone maybe dealing with. For less than a cost of one therapy session, you can get a wealth of resources in one app. I have started using it for several things I’d like to work on and have found much of the content and prompts useful. Thanks for creating this app! I’d recommend offering a free session or two for people to see how it works instead of requesting payment right away. But other than that, I think it’s a great resource!
