Walk into our manufacturing hall and you’ll see clean lines, precision installations, and every element in its place. Behind that professional finish is the work of three outstanding local businesses whose skill and commitment turned our plans into reality. At the AMRF, we believe in the strength of local partnerships. This fit-out is a testament to the talent and dedication found right here in Western Sydney. Funnels brought their expertise in electrical and pneumatic systems, with Master Electrician Lachlan Couley ensuring every detail was functional, safe, and matched the clean aesthetic of the hall. All Work Crane Services delivered millimetre-precise rigging and installation for our machinery, backed by a commitment to safety and care that consistently exceeded expectations. Plumbing Dynamix installed our air and argon lines to the highest standard, with Eddie Wojtun and on-site plumber Michael providing responsive, reliable, and meticulous service. The success of this fit-out reflects the collaborative effort of these teams and shows how strong local partnerships underpin excellence in advanced manufacturing. #AdvancedManufacturing #WesternSydney #AMRF #LocalBusiness #Partnership #PrecisionEngineering

We were thrilled to host Composites Australia Tech and Networking event at the AMRF yesterday ✨ The day was an opportunity to connect with Australia's growing composites industry, featuring talks from established and emerging industry leaders who shared valuable insights on scalability in manufacturing and how the AMRF can help support Australian manufacturing businesses. Gareth Jones shared the journey Marley Flow Control have been on with the AMRF in scaling their production, and where we're headed to next. Luke P. from ACM CRC spoke about how AI is will impact manufacturing processes and Dr Nisa Salim spoke about scalable manufacturing at Swinburne University of Technology's CSIRO Test Lab. A highlight was seeing our very own AMRF Composites Engineer Benjamin Leavold, present on how businesses can leverage large format additive manufacturing (LFAM) platforms like our CMS Kreator to produce cost effective rapid prototype tooling for composite lay up. The successful event curated by Composites Australia CEO Kerryn Caulfield and AMRF Lead Composites Manufacturing Engineer Nathan Howell demonstrated the importance of the composites industry in the future of Australian manufacturing.

Facing a manufacturing challenge you can't solve in-house? You know the situation: a design that needs validating, a new process worth testing, or a capability that's just too expensive to justify buying the equipment for. This is what the AMRF is built for. Here's how it works: 🔹 Bring us your specific challenge – prototyping a component, testing different materials, proving out a process before you commit to the investment 🔹 We handle the technical execution – our engineers use additive manufacturing, precision CNC machining, composites processing, metrology and inspection systems, and commercial design and simulation software. 🔹 Work with experts who get it – We work with you to refine the approach, troubleshoot what's not working, and get you to results you can actually use 🔹 Take it back to your business – validated designs to win a contract, proof that de-risks your next equipment purchase, or a new capability you can now offer customers We charge fee-for-service with transparent costs. No memberships, no long-term contracts. Our rates, equipment list, and team profiles are all on our website. We've got the tools, software, and know-how to get it done. 📩 Got something that's stuck? Let's talk through it. enquiries@amrf.sydney www.amrf.sydney

Tooling Tuesday Poll 🛠️ All have their benefits and preferred applications, but personally I’m a sucker for the productivity and surface finish achievable with a solid carbide tool. I’d also love to try another solid ceramic end mill too. - Ben Kitcher, AMRF Executive Director
