🏗 We’re accelerating the delivery of more than 2,300 new homes on Melbourne’s doorstep in Docklands, helping to meet growing demand and strengthening Victoria’s housing supply. Construction is ramping up at Victoria Harbour and Melbourne Quarter, and we’re fast-tracking a new building at Collins Wharf to add a further 400 homes to the precinct. These projects will also deliver new public spaces, including Bourke Dock and a park along Collins Street as part of the City of Melbourne’s Greenline vision, creating vibrant places for the community. Lord Mayor Nick Reece has welcomed the investment, noting the importance of delivering homes that match quantity with quality. 🎯 Mission Accomplished: we’ve achieved Net Zero for Scope 1 & 2 emissions! ⬇️ Since launching Lendlease’s decarbonisation targets in 2020, we’ve reduced gross Scope 1 & 2 emissions under our operational control by 89% through actioning our climate transition plans and simplifying our business. ☀️ We’re procuring 100% renewable electricity. 🌳 We’re buying Australian nature-based carbon offsets to compensate for remaining Scope 1 emissions. Next up - our next target, Absolute Zero by 2040 for Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, without the use of offsets.
