Congratulations to our customer Indigenous Connection for being Highly Commended in the Resilient Australia Awards. After Cyclone Fina’s impact on the Tiwi Islands, their project — supported by the NAB Foundation and partners — shows how cultural knowledge strengthens safety and disaster readiness in remote northern communities. At NAB, we’re proud to support a customer creating lasting impact for First Nations communities. We acknowledge Cultural Knowledge Providers: Francilla Puruntatameri, Virgil Kerinaiua, Mary Munkara, Agnella Tupungwuti and Ian Gumbula.

That’s a wrap on another nabtrade Charity Trading Day! Thank you to everyone who made a trade in support. The event raised $467,000 for the Odonata Foundation and $58,000 for the ASX’s Refinitiv Foundation. Odonata Foundation Chief Operating Officer Matt Singleton said the money raised would help to save native species and build biodiversity. “The generous donation will be invested into our 500-in-5 Species Recovery Model, which aims to build threatened species populations back up to at least 500 animals, dispersed across five or more safe havens and wild sites. This approach creates insurance populations of endangered species and promotes stronger genetics, a key to their long-term survival.” “NAB’s support, from both nabtrade and the NAB Foundation, is not just a donation, it’s a direct investment in the survival of some of our country’s most vulnerable species and ecosystems, including the eastern quoll, southern brush-tailed rock-wallaby and eastern barred bandicoot,” said Mr Singleton. Tomorrow is nabtrade's Charity Trading Day, where the power of trading will make a real difference in the community. This year 80% of brokerage fees will go directly to the Odonata Foundation, supporting their work to restore biodiversity and protect native species across Australia. To amplify our impact, the NAB Foundation will match nabtrade’s donation to Odonata. The other 20% of brokerage fees will support the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation, which helps a range of causes. For colleagues like William Couts, this day is a highlight of the year. Making a difference for customers and the community is what makes William proud to work at Australia’s biggest business bank. Visit nabtrade.com.au/charityday for more info.
