December is knocking… and everything suddenly feels like it’s moving at double speed. Between the to-dos and the Christmas rush, slowing down to celebrate our small wins can easily fall off the list. So we asked Martin to share a little reminder of why it’s so important to keep it a top priority. 🥇🙌

Hugh’s incredibly grateful for the inclusive environment Melbourne United Basketball Club has created for him and his family, so having the opportunity to explore the importance of gratitude in and beyond sport with the team was extra special 🩵
Taking gratitude, mindfulness and empathy into the second half of NBL26, with the help of Hugh van Cuylenburg and the tools he shares through The Resilience Project. Thanks Hugh for coming in!

Not all superheroes wear capes…but for GEM Day, the ones at St Michael’s Catholic Primary School in Stanmore do! It makes us SO happy to see your whole school community come together to support wellbeing (and those capes are amazing too!) 👏🩵 #GEMDay #GEMinaction #SchoolWellbeingProgram

There’s a special kind of quiet joy that rises when you help someone, simply because you can. That warm lift in your chest? That’s altruism - our new word of the month. It’s a reminder that doing good feels good. And if you’re feeling inspired to share a little extra kindness this season, we’ve got something meaningful happening in our online shop: https://lnkd.in/gGPHtAGF

This week on The Imperfects, Troy Kinne shares his experience of living with a rare condition and how being unwell for an entire year impacted his mental health. Troy talks openly about shame, success and self-compassion. Coupled with many laughs (to be expected when a comedian joins Hugh, Josh and Ryan), this is a warm and hopeful chat about finding your way back to who you are. Tune in here: https://lnkd.in/gmefpdUc

Cozy Koala is having so much fun at Bentleigh West Kindergarten…and according to the feedback, it sounds like the children are, too (with one of them even building a home for Cozy!) 🐨 ‘Taking Cozy Koala with the workbook home has created much excitement for the children. They can’t wait until it is their turn! It is also wonderful that they can all share a different report with their peers, and this has kept it interesting.’ A big thanks to the generous funding of Jellis Craig for making our Early Years Wellbeing Program possible for this service!
