🤝 Vix has joined forces with Campaign for Better Transport to help shape a consistent national approach to bus stop infrastructure and passenger information. As part of the Better Bus Stops initiative, we’ll be working with a national group to develop a bus stop standard. This work is about more than infrastructure. It’s about making everyday journeys easier, clearer, and more comfortable for the people who rely on buses. Recently, we were proud to co-host an accessibility‑focused event with Translink in partnership with Angel Eyes NI. Translink drivers used VR training to experience what it’s like to travel with sight loss, while young people with visual impairments tested accessible features including real-time displays and next-stop audio announcements powered by Vix.
