By analysing de-identified transaction data, we’ve provided evidence-based insights into travel behaviours, giving the airport the tools to pitch Western Sydney’s potential to the world. What’s better that one butter chicken? TWO different styles of butter chicken... and honestly, I'm still torn. At Priya Restaurant in Caroline Springs, they serve: · The Makani (Aussie-style): Sweeter, creamier, comfort food at its finest · The Masala (Punjabi-style): Less sweet, more spice, kicks in HARD They’ve been a Melbourne institution for more than 35 years, flying chefs in from India's 5-star hotels and creating dining experiences that honour their heritage while embracing their Australian home. So... are you team Makani or team Masala? Drop your vote below 👇

Australia’s first bank began with inked ledgers and IOUs, laying the foundations for a fledgling economy. Westpac’s Backing Business magazine is back. This edition is packed with practical insights and inspiring stories to help Australian businesses thrive. When Lara and her family struggled to find adequate support for their child in their rural community, she didn't just wish things were different, she took action and founded The Place – a community space designed specifically for neurodiverse families in rural and regional areas. Today, The Place provides vital health services including occupational and speech therapy that promote and celebrate individuality and support families who once had nowhere to turn. It's a powerful reminder that the best businesses often start with a simple desire to give back and fill a gap. Inside this edition, you'll find Lara’s full story alongside other inspiring customer journeys, including RunDNA's innovative approach to custom footwear, plus expert advice and practical tools to help business owners finish 2025 strong, and get off to a flying start in 2026. At Westpac, we're proud to support business owners like Lara, from grassroots to growth, helping them scale, succeed make a real difference in their communities. Today on National Agriculture Day we’re highlighting just a few of the thousands of stories of innovation we hear from farmers around Australia – you can have a read here: https://lnkd.in/gkz35MYY
Today on National Ag Day, I am reminded why I love my job! I get to spend most of my time sitting around kitchen tables and going out in the paddocks with some of the best people in Australia – our farmers – who are feeding and clothing all of us, while innovating like you wouldn’t believe. And then at the end of the day I get to head back to my mixed cropping and cattle farm in Toowoomba and live the dream in my downtime too. The theme for this year’s Ag Day, ‘stand with the land’, feels particularly relevant. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to support farmers not just during the good harvests or when meat prices are high, but through the tough times - of which there are many. It’s about being there through the generations, not just the seasons. Today on Westpac Wire we’re highlighting just a few of the thousands of stories of innovation we hear from farmers around Australia – you can have a read here: https://lnkd.in/gkz35MYY There is nothing more important than a thriving agriculture industry, and we’re lucky to have so many hard-working people in Australia who are combining generations of knowledge with the latest innovations that will set this country up for the future. What a privilege it is to work alongside them.
