Delighted to announce the completion of the first building at VGP Park Kecskemét II, Hungary, and to welcome our first tenant, Fuyao Group, a global leader in automotive glass manufacturing. The new 25,000 m2 facility is designed for advanced automotive glass assembly operations and meets high standards of technology, energy efficiency, and sustainability. The project is prepared for solar panel installation, features EV charging stations, and includes a rainwater harvesting system, among others. Our Romanian VGP team had a very enriching Community Day at the Save The Horses sanctuary, a truly great place for second chances. The sanctuary is home to 140 horses, 4 ponies, 4 donkeys, and more than 60 dogs. Many of the dogs were abandoned by their owners or rescued from the streets, the horses have been hit by cars or abandoned, are old or mistreated, and even former sport horses now enjoy a retirement at the sanctuary. Alongside them live cows, goats, sheep, piglets, chickens, and geese. All the animals there have a story, and the sanctuary offers them a safe, loving environment after difficult experiences.   During the Community Day, the team supported the sanctuary with a few hands-on activities, such as unloading and loading hay bales, painting, and doing general cleaning around the property, a very enriching experience for all of them.   #VGP #CommunityDay

At VGP Park Nijmegen, VGP is taking a big step in our sustainable energy efforts! The park is energized by a Battery Energy Storage System, designed to maximize renewable energy efficiency and grid stability. Presenting a capacity of 6.84 MWh and a power output of 3.45 MW, this system uses advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate technology and operates at a charge/discharge rate of 0.5C. Combined with our 4 MWp solar installation, it enables us to store excess solar energy and release it when needed, reducing peak loads and supporting a greener grid. In addition, five more Battery Energy Storage Systems at VGP Park Nijmegen have been permitted, these systems will add a further 6.5 MW of power and 13.635 MWh of storage capacity.   Looking forward to the further development of these Battery Energy Storage Systems at other VGP Parks. Our VGP Italy team had an incredible Community Day at Cascina Nibai, organized by Smart Eventi , where the team came together to make a difference. Next to the two earlier announced nominations, VGP Romania has now also been nominated for Best Leading Green Development and Developer, and Best Warehouse Development and Developer at the CIJ World Awards Romania 2025 for VGP Park Arad and the VAT GROUP project. The 21,000 m2 Building B achieved the BREEAM Outstanding certification with 96.3% , the highest BREEAM New Construction score ever awarded to an industrial building worldwide. VGP Foundation update!   Did you know that snow leopards belong to the most endangered big cats on Earth?
