New modernization project for South Valley Cement Humboldt Wedag GmbH is proud to announce the involvement in a significant modernization project for South Valley Cement. This project reflects our commitment to driving sustainability and innovation within the cement industry. We are excited to deliver cutting-edge technologies to enhance South Valley Cement’s operations and support their ambitious plans for the future. The project scope comprises: - ID Fan: Increases the combustion air flow for complete fuel burn-out while optimizing electrical energy consumption. - Pyrorotor®: The best available technology that allows the utilization of alternative fuels with minimal preparation. The Pyrorotor reduces overall production costs and lowers the environmental impact of primary fuel use. - Pyrojet® main kiln burner: KHD’s state-of-the-art primary burner enhances pyroprocess stability and lowers the carbon footprint. - Pyrofloor²® cooler: KHD’s walking floor cooler achieves very low pressure drop, ensuring an energy-efficient cooling process that reduces emissions and supports more environmentally friendly operation of the entire pyroprocess. These technologies are not only designed to boost operational efficiency and significantly reduce production costs, but also to help South Valley Cement achieve its sustainability goals. Silver Jubilee Celebrations:  25 Years of Innovation- TechConnect 2025 by Humboldt Wedag India   This year marked a milestone moment for Humboldt Wedag India, as we celebrated 25 years of excellence. The occasion was made even more special through our flagship event — TechConnect 2025, a two-day knowledge and networking forum held in the serene surroundings of Goa.   The event brought together nearly 75 participants from some of the most established cement groups across globe. It served as a vibrant platform for technology exchange, industry insights, and collaborative dialogue on the future of sustainable cement manufacturing.   What made the celebration even more memorable was the presence of our management board, founder members, and long-standing partners, all of whom have played a pivotal role in shaping our journey from inception to industry leadership.   Through interactive sessions, technical presentations, and open discussions, TechConnect 2025 reflected Humboldt Wedag India’s unwavering commitment to innovation, partnership, and progress. The event not only celebrated our achievements over the past 25 years but also set the tone for the next phase of growth — one focused on energy, efficiency, cement beyond carbon and sustainability in cement production. We talked on solutions & services we are ready with and will be providing for all the new & upcoming plants. We talked on our operational experiences and successful results we achieved in past few years.
