Great news! Our Igloo lamp has been selected as a finalist for the Best of Year Awards 2025 by popular vote, awarded by the renowned magazine Interior Design. Designed by Studio 11, Igloo has reached this stage thanks to the support of all of you. We are honored to receive this recognition and to be part of a community that celebrates excellence in design. New social spaces at Hydro, Oslo Fablab Design transformed the canteen and lounge areas at Hydro’s offices in Drammensveien 260, creating warm, inviting zones for coffee breaks and informal meetings. The design balances raw materials like aluminium, glass, and steel with softer, warmer elements, blending Norwegian style with Japanese Zen. Sustainability was key, existing furniture was reused and the kitchens were upgraded. Highlights include high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and a stunning Candelabro pendant installation 15 meters above the ground, featuring wooden lights and golden birds.
