The Trademark Team is looking to hire an Associate with 2-3 years of experience for our Gurgaon office. Core Responsibilities - Advising clients on India’s trademark registration procedures. - Conduct trademark availability searches and prepare search reports for client advisories. - Drafting and filing trademark applications, replies to examination reports. - Attend hearings before Trademark Registry officers (in person or virtual). - Assist in drafting and filing notices of opposition, counterstatements, and evidence documents. - Maintain liaison with Registry officials for procedural follow-ups. - Ensure timely compliance with Registry communications and orders. - Managing client trademark portfolios, updating records, maintaining filing systems and briefing clients on application statuses.   Skills and Requirements - Law degree (LLB), from a recognized institution, with a specialization or keen interest in intellectual property law. - Good command of written and spoken English; strong legal drafting skills. - Ability to think independently and prepare legal drafts for all the work related to the above listed responsibilities. - Communicative with team members and has the ability to work collaboratively. - Familiarity with IP India online filing portal and e-filing processes. - Detail-oriented; able to handle deadlines, multiple assignments, and communication with clients and team members. - Basic computer literacy for online filings and document management. - Team-oriented approach with professional client handling skills.
