Requesting Features for Jetpack CRM

    How We Prioritise Feature Requests

    We track everything. When you submit your feature request to us, the first thing we do is search our issue boards to see if it’s something that’s been requested before.

    If it has, your request will get added to the list. If it hasn’t, we add your idea to the backlog so that we can start tracking it.

    Idea Backlog

    Any feature that’s still under consideration, meaning we’re not yet sure if we want to build it, gets added to our ideas backlog. As mentioned, we keep a close eye on all requests. When an idea starts getting a lot of interest, our team reviews it and decides whether it’s something we want to move forward with.

    If a request doesn’t align with our product goals, it likely won’t become a priority. However, if you or your client really wants that functionality, Jetpack CRM is extendable and developer-friendly, so you’re always welcome to build a custom extension to meet your needs.

    Feature Backlog

    A feature request will move from the idea backlog over to the feature backlog when we have seen significant interest from customers and our team agrees that it is in line with our values and product goals.

    While a request is in the feature backlog, we continue to track requests from customers while waiting for this feature to be prioritized on our product roadmap.

    Product Roadmap

    We work hard to stay focused on our roadmap and avoid getting sidetracked by ideas, no matter how great they are, that could lead to time-consuming detours. Instead, we rely on customer feedback and trends from feature requests to help us decide which features to prioritize each quarter.
