Children’s Aid is thrilled to
be participating in the TCS New York City Marathon for the eighth consecutive
year as a charity partner. Team Children’s Aid, founded in 2016, is a group of
dedicated, philanthropic runners who annually raise thousands of dollars to
support the mission of Children’s Aid. These inspiring runners train to race
the 26.2-mile course through the five boroughs all while raising critical funds
to support nearly 50,000 children and families living in poverty in New York
City.
Since our founding in 1853,
Children’s Aid has led a comprehensive counterattack on the obstacles that
prevent kids from building a solid foundation for their future. Our programming
focuses on four targeted, high-needs neighborhoods at more than 40 sites in
Harlem, Washington Heights, the South Bronx, and northern Staten Island. We
know what it takes for children to succeed and thrive: excellent education,
high-quality health care, and strong, stable families. Our work is designed to
ensure that there are no barriers to their education and no limits to what they
can achieve.

and families we support, we have set a goal to raise a minimum of $50,000! You
