Our latest research into agentic commerce is featured in Forbes, and it reveals a clear shift: shoppers are getting comfortable with handing over tasks to AI. 40% of UK consumers say they’d trust AI agents to handle routine purchases up to a value of £200. Among 25–34-year-olds, that jumps to 70%, with nearly half already using AI to support shopping decisions. But trust isn’t a given. 48% of consumers worry about losing control over purchases, while 40% are concerned about fraud. For merchants, the opportunity is clear. Build trust. Provide flexibility.
