Jason Warner Talks Good

A well-eyebrowed fellow is sitting down with his head in his hands and is looking at the camera with an expression that says, "You and me are gonna have a great time working together."

Well hello there. Say, do you happen to be looking for a General American / Northeast American / Boston voice that delivers warmth, wit and wryness, with a dynamism & flexibility that makes it suitable for anything from narration to corporate to animation? You will be relieved to know that your search has come to an end.

Voice Over Demos and Booked Work

Commercial Demo, produced by Austen Moret
American voices / accents sampler that have been featured in several Audio Always productions (Head Number 7, Inside McKamey Manor, The Human Project), as well as a transatlantic voice for an internal corporate VO for Red Peg Marketing
Ad for Champion pet food brands
Ad for AmFirst Insurance, playing a (slightly Jewish) pigeon; my voice has been pitched up
When people called the Angry Orchard hotline, they heard this angry voice (followed a rapid-fire disclaimer voice, featuring some of my own ad-libs)
Outdoor brand Sierra’s “Fnd Your Playpals” campaign
Playing the (haughty, drunk, hungry) ghost of Orson Welles
NOT calm Boston accent for animated show
A playlist of some of my booked work: 3 commercial spots for Lemonade insurance, narration for FAFSA, narration for NanaWall, and a British accent for a short student film

About me

Hello! I’m Jason, an experienced, versatile voice over artist recording from my broadcast-quality studio in Devon, UK. I’m originally from Massachusetts, so my warm, wry, relatable voice is of the General American variety, with easy access to Northeast American and Boston. With an extensive background in theatre, comedy and improv, I’m an adaptable, enthusiastic collaborator and I excel in live directed sessions. That background also makes me tremendously flexible, able to bring life to all manner and tone of scripts, from corporate to commercial to animation. My age range is young adult to middle aged. VO is my full time job, so I can turn around work and any revisions quickly.

In addition to that background, I’ve consistently invested in VO training and classes, such as:
* 1 on 1 coaching, group classes and an intensive with Voice on Demand; you can see me at the bottom of this page!
* Several classes with Actors Connection
* 14-day intensive with Shelly Shenoy

My voice has been used for Lemonade Insurance, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), internal corporate training, several indie audio dramas, an indie audio sitcom, several true crime podcasts and even a posh, flustered British historian (as seen in the video above!).

When I’m not on the microphone, I enjoy walking my objectively beautiful Hungarian Vizsla-Springer Spaniel dogs, savor my collection of several dozen artisan chocolate bars, sing a resonant baritone in the folksy Wild Goose Choir, and listen to far too many comedy, film and politics podcasts at 1.5X speed.
