SMS Messages Not Received

Has anyone successfully sent an SMS from the DevKit and received it on a phone?

My phone carrier is ATT, and the following:

modem sms send 0 NUMBER "hello world!"

does not work for NUMBER being any form of NNNNNNNNNN, 1NNNNNNNNNN, +1NNNNNNNNNN. I'm familiar with carrier filtering so it could be that, but was curious as to whether something else is preventing the receipt.

This is likely due to the SIM card in use on the DevBoard; while SMS is supported, on the provided SIMs it is not possible to send SMS message from the board, and receipt of SMS messages is only possible from backend API.

Is there a support channel by which to request the shipped SIM be enabled on the network for SMS?

Unfortunately, peer to peer messaging is disabled by default on the plan and not adjustable at this time. I am unsure of any support channel to reach out to for this issue.
