Our team joined Durham Public Schools yesterday to celebrate the Durham School of the Arts topping out ceremony. The final beam was set in place, marking an exciting milestone for this flagship project. Principal Don Jones shared that “the future of DSA is where opportunity and achievement meet.” Superintendent Dr. Anthony Lewis added that the new campus reflects “what happens when public education and community come together.” Part of DPS’ 2022 bond program, the 375,000-square-foot replacement campus will advance modern, student-centered learning and support the district’s arts magnet program with new performance, studio, and academic spaces.
