To keep costs low, shared interior spaces are utilized. Privacy is still kept through small personal living spaces and kitchenettes. East LA's issues of drought is addressed by a rain harvesting wall system, creating water reserves for drought. The project is also inspired by the nearby parks and community of East LA. The project's 3 exterior "parks" provide a place to sit under a tree, move in a field, and gather on hardscape.
