We were proud to sponsor and participate in this year’s Riverkeeper Sweep as part of Highgate’s sustainability efforts. The Arthouse Hotel NYC team helped clean 1.5 miles of waterfront, collecting over 60 pounds of trash along the Hudson River. The Sweep, spanning more than 120 miles of shoreline with thousands of volunteers across 100+ sites, continues to make a meaningful impact on the health and beauty of our waterways. This week, we said farewell to Amado Sosa, our incredible front desk agent, as he retired after an extraordinary 35 years of service at Arthouse Hotel. Amado has been the heart of our front desk, greeting every guest with warmth, professionalism, and a personal touch that left lasting impressions. His dedication, kindness, and commitment to excellence have inspired our entire team and shaped the Arthouse experience for countless guests over the years. Last week, Arthouse Hotel’s volunteers joined the Highgate team at New York Common Pantry to prepare for Thanksgiving. Together, we had the privilege of serving 169 families, 1,836 individuals, and packing an incredible 6,912 meals. This experience was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and teamwork. We’re proud to support the amazing work of New York Common Pantry and are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference during the holiday season.
