We’re proud to see Nissan Innovation Program featured in the ADI Design Index 2025, recognizing design’s power to drive cultural and organizational transformation. Together with Nissan Italia, we launched a two-year Innovation Coaching journey that redefined the company’s mindset, leadership, and culture, moving from theory to measurable change. Through learning by design, open innovation, and hands-on experimentation, we supported the creation of a new Innovation Department, the appointment of the first Chief Innovation Officer Luisa Di Vita, and the launch of four innovation projects born from internal collaboration and external partnerships with universities and startups. Over 180 employees took part in workshops, coaching sessions, and design thinking programs that turned innovation into a shared, scalable capability, now adopted as a best practice across other Nissan markets. A project that proves how design can empower organizations to evolve, learn, and lead change from within.
