✨ Today I had the privilege of leading the opening session for our “All Means All” professional development day, as Managing Director of Student Services. We grounded ourselves in the wisdom of James Baldwin: “The children are always ours, every single one of them.” That call reminded us to show up for our scholars with the same preparation, presence, and curiosity we ask of them. We celebrated what makes our network strong and we were honest about the urgent challenges we must confront together. Our charge was clear: to seize the opportunities before us—rebuilding MTSS and behavior systems, investing in proactive supports, and strengthening collaboration—so that every scholar, especially our exceptional learners, has equitable access to the world-class education they deserve. 💡 I left today deeply energized by our shared vision: high expectations paired with high levels of support, ensuring every scholar is prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for choice-filled lives.
