Broward Health’s Employee Experience Team recently delivered more than 330 pounds of candy to the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Palm Beach, in a heartfelt show of support from our Broward Health community. Through our Treats for Troops campaign, hundreds of employees came together to donate candy as a small gesture of gratitude for the service members who have given so much. We are grateful to our Broward Health family for their generosity and to the VA team for the incredible work they do every day for our veterans.

Imagine boarding a plane and suddenly showing signs of a stroke. That’s what happened to Alfred. Thankfully, his wife recognized the symptoms right away and took action. Thanks to her quick response and the expert care of Dr. Bouslama, Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) and our Broward Health stroke team, Alfred is now thriving and today, we get to celebrate his remarkable recovery.
