This September, the Children’s Cancer Center is excited to honor Maxed Out as our Partner of the Month, whose generosity and support help make our mission possible. September is also Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the impact of childhood cancer and honor the strength of the children and families affected. Maxed Out, founded by Max Willett maxed out is a new supporter of the Children’s Cancer Center, who has already helped make a meaningful difference. Under Max’s leadership, the Tampa-based agency has grown to over 350 agents and 52 leaders, helping more than 70,000 families and generating over $200 million in annual revenue. We first benefited from Maxed Out’s quarterly employee conference, and are honored to have been selected as the benefiting charity for their employee conferences throughout the remainder of our fiscal year. This April, we are excited to announce M.E. Wilson Company as our Partner of the Month. M.E. Wilson provides tailored insurance, risk management and consulting services nationwide through their culture of integrity, respect & a commitment to excellence. M.E. Wilson sponsored the Children’s Cancer Center’s annual Holiday Card Campaign, where they shared holiday greeting cards custom designed by our child artists. They also sponsored our recent Bestie Brunch, hosted by the Children’s Cancer Center’s Rising Leaders, an inaugural committee of local young professionals who volunteer their time to help move our mission forward. One of our distinguished Rising Leaders, Elle Lehman, currently works at M.E. Wilson as a Director, Agency Services. Elle has been an amazing advocate for us in the community and shared a few words about what it’s been like steering our partnership: “At M.E. This month, the Children’s Cancer Center is honored to showcase our partnership with White Whale Solutions. White Whale is a data-driven marketing agency that supports clients across multiple industries to craft compelling narratives and captivating visuals that resonate with an array of audiences. We proudly launched our 50th year with a commemorative logo developed by White Whale and their talented team. Our collaboration continued as they supported the release of our newsletter, inaugural annual report and 2024 Kite Campaign. They even helped us overcome the obstacles imposed by the recent hurricanes, lending their office space for us to host our Saturday SAIL Program and monthly Teen Group. We send our utmost gratitude to David and his entire team at White Whale for sharing in our belief that it takes more than medicine to battle pediatric cancer.

This month, we’d like to give a special cheers to David Tornek and the Meat Market team for all they have poured into the children and families of the Children’s Cancer Center. Meat Market has been a partner of ours since opening their Tampa location in 2019. They have proudly sponsored the infamous sole men shirts at our annual Wine Women & Shoes event while donating countless cases of wine and special dining experiences for our guests to enjoy. For the last two years, their restaurants in Tampa, Boca Raton and Palm Beach have celebrated the new year in style while dedicating portions of the proceeds towards our 30 programs.
