  • A huge shoutout to our amazing Tarpon Springs, Florida Community Manager, Cody, for leading the Longest Table event earlier this November in partnership with Tarpon’s city leaders, the Mayor, the Chamber, and Main Street Tarpon. 💚 What started as an 8-month effort turned into a truly unforgettable day. COhatch co-hosted alongside the Downtown District of Tarpon Springs and NewSpring Church, rallying 60+ volunteers, 15+ local businesses, 6+ churches, and 10+ nonprofits to bring this vision to life. From an all-volunteer meeting in the COhatch breezeway, to 74 tables, 500 chairs, and support from the City of Tarpon Springs (porta potties, tables, chairs, and police road closures, thank you!), every detail reflected community coming together. With 400+ attendees, this event showed what can happen when a city shows up for each other. Seeing volunteers activated, meals shared, and the community unite was truly inspiring. Cody’s leadership and love for Tarpon were woven into every moment.

  • Our Head of Impact, Dave Anderson, has been working tirelessly with our team to get the Star House Carol Stewart Village apartment complex (of 62 apartments!) renovated to feel like homes for unhoused youth in Columbus. If you'd like to learn more about volunteer opportunities, chat with Dave on the impact this project has, or want to donate towards the project, please reach out to dave@cohatch.com to learn more!

Head of Impact and Milwaukee Market Leader at COhatch | Connecting people to opportunity.

Hope looks like something. And right now, it looks like 62 young adults getting a real place to call home. At COhatch, we believe community has the power to change lives. That’s why our partnership with Star House has become one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever stepped into. Together, we’re renovating all 62 apartments at Carol Stewart Village, a supportive housing community for young adults experiencing homelessness. Not just patching walls… but rebuilding dignity, stability, and belonging. What’s happening on the ground: • Full apartment upgrades—fresh paint, new flooring, bedding, décor, and furniture • Weekend volunteer crews showing up in force • Businesses donating materials, time, and skilled labor • Projects in the pipeline: a dog park, community garden, and even a small coworking hub This is what can happen when a city decides to stop walking past its most vulnerable neighbors—and instead, walks with them. Why it matters: Homeless youth often disappear in plain sight. But they shouldn’t disappear from our care. If we all give a little… they gain a lot. Learn more. Join us. Spread the word. This project is big—and we need people who believe in big-impact work. 📍 Full story + ways to help: https://lnkd.in/ecjWbk_m #COhatchImpact #StarHouse #HomelessYouth #CommunityMatters #ImpactCollective #MakeADifference #ColumbusOH

We love watching great ideas turn into thriving businesses here at COhatch, and Florin Coffee is a perfect example of entrepreneurship in action. Florin Coffee got its start right inside COhatch Worthington – The Library in our Madery space back in 2017, they poured countless hours into building their brand right alongside our community. Fast forward to today: Florin Coffee was just ranked #6 Best Independent Coffee shop in the US! A huge win and well-deserved recognition for a homegrown COhatch startup. Florin Coffee has been proudly served in all of our COhatch Columbus locations for years, and we love knowing our members get to experience their craft every day. Their success story couldn’t line up better with the energy of Entrepreneurship Day yesterday, a reminder that big accomplishments often begin with small steps, shared spaces, and supportive community. We’re incredibly proud to see Florin Coffee continue to grow, inspire, and represent what’s possible when creativity meets opportunity. ☕️ Congrats Florin Coffee!

  • Back in 2015, COhatch began as an idea, repurpose a single old building into a place where people could connect and create something meaningful. With vision, belief, and a whole lot of support from family, friends, and community, that dream grew into the vibrant ecosystem we get to serve today. Entrepreneurship isn’t easy, there are sleepless nights, surprises no business plan could predict, and plenty of lessons learned. But there’s also been incredible joy in watching our members and scholars launch companies, chase big goals, and even host the small life-moments that matter just as much. To every founder, freelancer, builder, and bold thinker: you are why we exist. Thank you for sharing your stories with us and for letting COhatch be part of your journey. On this National Entrepreneurs’ Day, we celebrate you, and the courage it takes to build something from nothing.

When our partners at COhatch asked if we could help host the Hamilton, Ohio Chamber annual gathering of 250 people in the active construction site of what will soon the be the newest COhatch, our first thought was: We don't know?    But one of our core values is “We Are Solution Focused.”   Together with the COhatch team, we didn’t just say yes and hope for the best. There were limitations to set, site walkthroughs, safety checks, permits to secure, event contracts, and a serious amount of cleaning to do.   Together, as a team, we figured it out. Thanks to the planning and hard work of Director of PreConstruction Jim Aiello, Project Manager Josh Gardy, Superintendent Larry Darnell, Director of Safety Davin Bentley, and COhatch leadership Terry Hegenderfer, Joshua Hegenderfer and Tania Tuncap Lehotay, the site was (most importantly) safe, spotless, and ready to welcome an incredible group of Hamilton leaders and changemakers.   What transpired was an excellent event, and a reminder that when we all come to the table with a solution focused mindset, we can accomplish so much more.
