A Concacaf delegation led by President Victor Montagliani and joined by General Secretary Philippe Moggio visited Puerto Rico this week, where they met with Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol (FPF) President Ivan Rivera. During the visit, President Montagliani toured the federation’s new headquarters and met with key local stakeholders to learn more about the FPF’s continued efforts to grow the game across the island. Conversations focused on expanding participation at all levels and reviewing major infrastructure investments that will support football’s long-term growth in Puerto Rico.

Concacaf President Victor Montagliani made an official visit to the Cayman Islands, where he was warmly welcomed by CIFA President Alfredo Whittaker, the CIFA Executive Committee, Premier André Ebanks, Minister of Planning Jay Ebanks, and Minister of Sports Isaac Rankine. Together, they reviewed plans and important next steps for CIFA’s infrastructure project, which will further strengthen football development across the island.

Over the weekend, President Victor Montagliani and General Secretary Philippe Moggio attended the XXIV UNCAF Congress in San José, Costa Rica. In his address to the Congress, President Montagliani commended UNCAF President Pedro Chaluja and his team for the excellent work carried out under his leadership, which is reflected in the performances and achievements of UNCAF’s member associations across the Confederation’s men’s and women’s competitions, including the 2025 Gold Cup, the Central American Cup, and various youth events. Montagliani also reaffirmed Concacaf’s full support for the joint four-nation bid recently submitted by Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, and the United States, to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2031.

Concacaf President Victor Montagliani visited Curaçao, where he was welcomed by FFK President Gilbert Martina. Together with the FFK Executive Committee, discussions focused on the growing momentum and enthusiasm driving domestic football and the Association’s Strategic Plan for the 2026–2030 cycle, outlining a strong vision for the years ahead. President Montagliani also met with Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas, and together they toured Curaçao’s newest football facilities, which are helping expand access to the game and create new opportunities for players and communities across the island.
