    Creative People was born in Brooklyn, and that spirit of reinvention runs through everything we do. As a company, we’re always evolving, expanding, and looking for new ways to grow. I joined six months ago to help drive that growth out West, specifically focusing on California markets. BD has quickly become part of my every day. While it’s challenging, it’s pushed me far outside my comfort zone, helping me build new connections, explore new opportunities, and contribute to the next chapter of who we’re becoming. In agency life, growth is constant, and I’m always looking for ways to tap into new clients, industries, and markets. Here are a few things I’m doing to help C/P Successfully scale across the country: 1. Define where and how we want to grow Clarifying the markets, industries, and client types we want to reach ensures our efforts are intentional and focused. 2. Understand the market deeply Researching trends, challenges, competitors, and customer needs allows us to approach prospects with insight and relevance. 3. Build real relationships (hello, coffee chats ☕ !!) Business development is fundamentally about people. I’m connecting with local talent and companies in SF & LA through networking events and IRL chats that open doors and spark collaboration. 4. Identify high-value opportunities I prioritize prospects that align with our target market, mostly DTC and tech, so our efforts are concentrated on the relationships most likely to drive meaningful growth. 5. Follow up with purpose Growth comes from nurturing relationships. Consistent, thoughtful communication is key! Checking in, offering value, and staying visible are all vital to turning conversations into long-term partnerships.
