  • November is a time to reflect on what we’re grateful for and at Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, we have much to appreciate. We’re thankful for so much this year: • Our incredible patients who remind us every day that healing is possible. • Our dedicated staff who lead with compassion, empathy, and strength — you are the heart of this hospital. • Our community partners who help us reach more people in need of hope and healing. • Every small step toward recovery — because even the smallest progress deserves celebration. In a world that moves fast, gratitude helps us slow down and recognize the good, even on hard days. It’s one of the most powerful tools for emotional balance, and something we encourage our patients to practice in every level of care: • In PHP, gratitude journaling helps patients shift focus from stress to strength. • In IOP, group discussions highlight daily wins and moments of connection. • In inpatient care, we celebrate courage — simply showing up is something to be proud of. This November, we invite you to join us in a gratitude challenge: 📝 Write down three things you’re thankful for every day — big or small. ☀️ Share them with someone you care about. 💬 Tag us and spread some positivity in the community. From all of us at Desert Parkway — thank you for being part of our mission to bring healing and hope to Las Vegas and beyond. #GratitudeSeason #ThankfulHearts #DesertParkwayCares #MentalHealthMatters #HealingTogether #LasVegasWellness #PHP #IOP #InpatientSupport #ThankfulForHealing

  • As we head into Thanksgiving week, many people look forward to connection, family, and tradition — but for others, this time of year can bring stress, pressure, or mixed emotions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or just not yourself lately, you’re not alone. Holidays can bring up a lot, and it’s okay if your experience looks different from those around you. Here are a few ways to protect your well-being this week: • Set realistic expectations, you don’t have to do everything. • Take breaks when you need them, even a few quiet minutes can help. • Create boundaries; it’s okay to step away from conversations or situations that feel draining. • Prioritize rest; your mind needs downtime, especially during busy seasons. At Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, we remain open through the holidays and are here to support anyone who needs stabilization, structure, or additional care. Whether through inpatient services, PHP, or IOP, our team is available to help you navigate this time of year with the support you deserve. • It’s easy to get caught up in the routine of the week — work, errands, responsibilities, repeat. Before the day gets away from you, take 10 seconds and check in with yourself: How’s my stress level today? Have I had a real moment of quiet? Am I feeling overwhelmed, or just stretched thin? What’s one small thing I can do to make today easier? You don’t have to unpack everything right now — just noticing how you feel is a step in the right direction. If you’ve been feeling more anxious, detached, or emotionally drained than usual, it may be worth having a conversation about support. At Desert Parkway, our inpatient, PHP, and IOP programs are designed to help people find stability, structure, and practical tools to manage daily life. Whether you need a reset or ongoing support, we’re here. No pressure. No judgment. Just help when you’re ready. #MentalHealthCheckIn #DesertParkwayCares #RealLifeMentalHealth #LasVegasBehavioralHealth

  • Today is World Kindness Day — a beautiful reminder that even the smallest act of compassion can have a lasting impact. Kindness isn’t just a feel-good gesture, it’s powerful for mental health. Research shows that acts of kindness can reduce stress, boost mood, and strengthen our sense of connection with others. This week, let’s make it intentional: • Send a message to someone who’s been on your mind. • Pay for a coffee for the person behind you. • Offer encouragement instead of judgment — including toward yourself. At Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, we see the impact of kindness every day — in our staff, our patients, and our community partners who go above and beyond to make healing possible. Whether it’s through listening, supporting, or simply showing up — kindness heals. Let’s carry that spirit beyond today and make kindness part of our daily practice — in our homes, our workplaces, and our hearts. #WorldKindnessDay #DesertParkwayCares #MentalHealthMatters #KindnessHeals #BeKind #LasVegasBehavioralHealth #CommunityCare #HealingTogether

  • Pause for a second. Take a deep breath. Now ask yourself — how am I, really? We get so used to saying “I’m fine” that we forget to actually check in with ourselves. Mental health isn’t just about feeling happy all the time, it’s about noticing how you’re doing, even when life gets busy. Try this quick self-check: • Have you been sleeping well? • Are you feeling more anxious, irritable, or withdrawn lately? • Do you find yourself running on autopilot? • Have you stopped doing things that used to make you feel good? If any of those hit home, you’re not alone and it might be time to slow down and reach out. At Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, we help individuals find balance and build resilience through a full continuum of care: • Inpatient Treatment — for those needing stabilization and safety in a supportive environment. • Partial Hospitalization (PHP) — structured day treatment with group therapy, medication management, and skill-building. • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — flexible morning or evening sessions for those returning to work, school, or daily life while continuing care. This month, challenge yourself to check in, not just with others, but with you. And if your answer to “How’s your mental health?” is “I’m not sure,” — that’s okay. We’re here to help you figure it out. Call us anytime for a free, confidential assessment: (877) 663-7976 #MentalHealthCheckIn #DesertParkwayCares #LasVegasBehavioralHealth #PHP #IOP #InpatientCare #YouAreNotAlone #WellnessJourney

  • Welcome, November! 💛 This month is all about gratitude, growth, and giving yourself permission to breathe. As the year winds down, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle — deadlines, holidays, expectations — but your mental health deserves space, too. Here’s your gentle reminder: • You don’t have to have it all together. • You’re allowed to rest and recharge. • You can make progress and still practice patience. At Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, we believe healing isn’t just for moments of crisis , it’s for every season of life. Whether you’re rebuilding balance through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), finding flexibility in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), or getting back on your feet with inpatient support, our team is here every step of the way. So as November begins, ask yourself: • What do I want to leave behind this month? • What do I want to grow? • How can I make space for peace? Here’s to a month of mindfulness, gratitude, and healing — one day at a time. 🌻 #NewMonthNewMindset #DesertParkwayCares #MentalHealthMatters #LasVegasWellness #PHP #IOP #InpatientCare #HealingHappensHere
