Last week, members of our management team met in Washington, D.C. for a productive and energizing Management Retreat.   The team focused on strengthening our internal operations, advancing innovation internally, and exploring opportunities for continued growth. These conversations are essential as DSD Labs expands its impact and prepares for the next phase of our organization.   We also made time for team building and connection, hosting our staff located in the national capital region for dinner that evening! It was a great chance to take a pause from our day to day and spend some time together as a team.    A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their insight, creativity, and leadership. DSD is pleased to welcome our newest team members! Ryann P. Del Rosario: Ryann, joins DSD as a Data Analyst supporting Air Combat Command (ACC/A4) at Langley AFB, VA. A retired Senior Master Sergeant with 22 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Air Force, Ryann brings deep experience in logistics, sustainment, and data-driven program management. His career includes leading large-scale readiness and modernization initiatives across 33 locations, improving logistics efficiency and operational performance through predictive analytics and automation. Ryann is passionate about using data and collaboration to turn complex information into practical solutions that enhance mission readiness and organizational performance. Andre LaFleur: Andre joins DSD as a Program Manager. Andre has spent the past four years as a software engineer designing and maintaining sophisticated systems managing patient healthcare data. At DSD Labs, he will be overseeing complex projects for government contracts, sharing his passion for excellent software development practices with his team. When he isn't putting computers to work for human needs, he is reading, playing guitar, and making his son laugh.   Matt Micklos: Matt joins DSD, as Senior Data Analytics Consultant. Matt is dedicated to transforming data into strategic advantage by leveraging policy and technology to deliver measurable and predictable impact. Matt has provided expert guidance and collaborated with Air Staff, AFMC, DLA, and numerous MAJCOM Directorates, helping to shape supply chain policy, drive IT modernization, and advance data integration across the Logistic enterprise. Renowned for his precision, analytical rigor, and collaborative leadership, Matt is passionate about training, mentorship, and data accuracy. Ethan Smith – Junior DevSecOps Developer Ethan joins the IS4 Contract at Hill AFB as a Junior DevSecOps Engineer after completing a successful 20-week internship with DSD. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems & Cybersecurity at Neumont College of Computer Science, where he has achieved Dean’s List recognition and Magna Cum Laude standing. We’re thrilled to have Ethan onboard full-time and excited to see the impact he’ll make. Kylie Rhodus – Full Stack Developer Kylie’s coding journey began in Louisiana, where she taught herself programming through library books before graduating high school a year early to pursue Software Engineering at Neumont College of Computer Science. During her final quarter, she interned with DSD as a full stack developer, building an automated contracting system. Kylie enjoys tackling complex problems and creating elegant solutions. Outside of work, she can often be found bouldering, crafting, or catching up on her favorite shows. Michael Johnson – IT Program Manager Michael brings over 24 years of experience as a Senior IT Specialist and Business Process Analyst, including 16 years serving as Key Personnel for high-profile federal clients. He has supported contracts with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, FDA, and most recently Air Force Cloud One, where he has led in roles such as Project Manager, Requirements Manager, Lead Tester, and Business Analyst. A Penn State graduate with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Management Science/Information Systems and Psychology, Michael is also a proud husband, father, soccer coach, and WWII Jeep restoration enthusiast. David Ross – IT Program Manager David is a retired Marine aviator with extensive IT program management experience, including work at Marine Corps Base Quantico (2008–2020) and Air Force Cloud One (2020–present). Originally from Iowa, he holds degrees from Iowa State University, the Naval Postgraduate School, and Liberty University, along with his PMP and several IT certifications. David is happily married and the proud father of six children. His interests include fitness, reading, volunteering, and serving his community—having completed over a decade as an elected official on the Spotsylvania County, VA Board of Supervisors. Our VP of Enterprise Operations, Kelley Beerbower, MPM™, COM™, CMS™, COL™, Featured on CBS Birmingham We are proud to share that our own Vice President of Enterprise Operations, Kelley Beerbower, was recently interviewed at #DAFITC by CBS Birmingham regarding the innovative work taking place at Air Force Cloud One. During the segment, Kelley highlighted the critical role Cloud One plays in advancing the U.S. Air Force’s digital modernization efforts. She spoke about how Cloud One enables secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions to support the warfighter, streamline operations, and accelerate mission success. Kelley also emphasized the importance of collaboration between government, industry, and mission partners, noting how teamwork has been instrumental in driving Cloud One’s achievements. From improving accessibility and enhancing cybersecurity to delivering rapid innovation, the Cloud One program continues to serve as a benchmark for cloud transformation across the Department of Defense. This recognition not only underscores the impact of Cloud One on the USAF’s ability to execute the mission and enable capability for the warfighter but also showcases the leadership and vision of Kelley and the entire DSD Enterprise Operations team.
