Many of us carry an invisible backpack full of built-up stress, pressure, and personal struggles that silently weigh us down. Over time, this unacknowledged burden can lead to burnout, depression, and even collapse. The key to protecting our mental health lies in recognizing the weight on our shoulders, taking intentional breaks, establishing daily stress-reducing routines, and sharing the weight with others. Just like tools keep us safe on the job, conversations and support networks are essential for sustaining well-being. The November episodes are now available on the LMS under My Courses. #ItsGoodToTalk #MentalWellBeing #MentalHealth #etATraining

What happens when apprenticeship programs partner with the communities they serve? In this episode, we chat with Tim Garcia, Training Director at the St. Paul Electrical JATC, about how working with two local organizations is transforming outreach, recruitment, and retention, and creating real impact across the city. Tim also shares how they’re using Interim Credentials to strengthen their approach and support apprentice success from day one. 🎧 You can find the episode here: https://lnkd.in/duRcUbuU #etASayWatt #etATraining

Apprenticeships offer a mix of real-world on-the-job training and classroom and lab instruction. And the best part? Apprenticeships are “earn while you learn,” meaning you’ll get paid for the time you’re working. No college debt required! #ApprenticeshipWorks #etATraining

⚡Sixteen members of the #IBEW, currently working as Journey-level Inside Electrical Workers for #NECA contractors, recently participated in a DACUM study to define the role of a journeyman in the organized electrical industry. To ensure a comprehensive representation, these workers were diverse in several aspects, including gender, race, and professional experience. Notably, participants hailed from 14 different states and had on-the-job experience ranging from 6 to 35 years. The team at etA reviewed the study results to understand their impact on our curriculum. 💡 #etATraining #ApprenticeshipWorks #TrainingExcellence
