How inclusive is your workplace? 🪴 5 Ways to Promote a More Inclusive Workplace (Inspired by the SPACE Framework) 1. Sensory Awareness: Not everyone works best under bright lights or in open spaces. Offer flexibility. Quiet zones, camera-off options, or noise-canceling time can help reduce cognitive load and support focus. 2. Predictability: Transparency builds trust. Share agendas before meetings, clarify expectations early, and communicate changes with notice. Predictability isn’t rigidity; it’s respect for how others process and plan. 3. Acceptance: Honor different communication styles, thinking patterns, and emotional expressions. True inclusion means celebrating, not just tolerating, diversity in how people show up and contribute. 4. Communication: Presume competence and clarity. Use plain language, follow up in writing, and invite multiple ways to engage (chat, reflection, 1:1 check-ins). Inclusion thrives on understanding, not assumption. 5. Empathy: Slow down before you respond. Ask instead of assuming. Empathy is how we bridge differences and build psychological safety one interaction at a time. We wish we could say that inclusive workplaces happen magically, but they don't; they're built slowly with intention. 💡 #inclusion #neurodiversity #peopleandculture #peoplefirst #futureofwork #wellbeingatwork

At Everyday Speech, kindness isn’t just something we teach. It’s how we work. 💛 On World Kindness Day, we’re celebrating the educators, clinicians, and teammates who model empathy every day... through collaboration, curiosity, and care for one another. Our mission is to help every student build real connection and compassion. That starts with a team that believes in those same values. Who's someone you know who consistently leads with kindness?

What an incredible time at the RTM Congress in September! We love representing our product and sharing how Everyday Speech empowers specialists to support students in building resilience, forming meaningful connections, and confidently navigating an ever-changing world. The highlight? Hearing directly from users/customers about the real impact in their schools. Our Founder, Brittany Brunell, was fortunate to spend time with Concetta A. Lewis, Ed.S., Assistant Superintendent of Special Education with Ann Arbor Public Schools, whose dedication to her team inspires us. Concetta embodies advocacy in action. She listens to her team of specialists and teachers, ensuring they have the tools they need to best support students. These conversations reinvigorate our commitment to creating the best lessons, resources, and tools possible—supporting educators like Concetta as they make a real difference for their students. #edtech #education

We get to witness some really meaningful moments during our in-person trainings, but this one hit extra close to home. One of our Customer Success Managers had the chance to lead a session where family and mission came together ❤️ "I got to lead an in-person training for my mom’s school district. My mom is an Speech Language Pathologist at a school right down the road from me. They’ve been one of our longtime partners, so it was so special to train my mom and all of her coworkers in person. They have 12 brand new SLPs right out of grad school who are super excited to get started!" It’s not often that personal and professional worlds come together so directly. We’re proud of team members like Meghan Clausing, the connections our work creates, and the specialists who bring so much to their students every day. This is why we do what we do! 🥲✨ #edtech #socialskills #digitalcurriculum #specialed #slplife

October is National Bullying Prevention Month 🧡 Let's do more than raise awareness. Let's equip students with the skills to recognize, respond to, and ultimately stop bullying before it starts. By intentionally teaching empathy, communication, and self-advocacy, we move beyond intervention to prevention. Fostering school communities where every student feels safe, connected, and valued. #bullyingprevention #pacer #NBPC #schoolclimate #socialskills
