We are grateful for our volunteers and volunteer professionals this Thanksgiving holiday! YOU are the warm smile that welcomes neighbors facing hunger in our community, the hands that stock the shelves, the feet that bring food into the homes of our seniors and the hearts that keep this work moving forward. Like Dr. Kathryn Fishman-Weaver, a volunteer in Missouri, who posted her experience on social stated, "Sometimes you get to share a cinnamon cookie with someone you just met....Yes, the lines are long. Tonight you notice new faces along with familiar ones...We talk politics and poetry. We talk about ordinary things: tomatoes, the weather....Citrus wafts between us. It fills the air with all that is said and unsaid in these sacred spaces." Samantha Cripe, Volunteer Programs Manager at The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri, shared, "When the world feels heavy, and the challenges facing our community seem insurmountable, the power of volunteering is real. As the volunteer manager, I get the chance to see these small acts add up to more than 11,500 volunteers helping share more than 21 million meals in a 32-county service area each year! I’m proud that our community comes together on good days and bad days to keep providing food to those who need it the most." Many families are feeling the need this season – and together we can make a difference. Now through November 26, Walmart and Sam's Club customers, members, and associates are supporting food banks with a new Feeding Communities Together initiative. 🛒 Donate in-store: at the register for $1, $5, round up your purchase, or choose your own amount, and Walmart and Sam's Club will match donations up to $5 million dollars! 🤝Associate Giving: Walmart is offering a 2:1 match of associate donations for Feeding America partner food banks for the duration of the campaign. 🥕Food Drives: Be on the lookout for optional in-store food drives hosted by local food banks. Together, we can help people facing hunger. Learn more: bit.ly/488C3zP #FeedingCommunitiesTogether
UPDATE: Thanks to your generosity we’ve met the $5M match. Customers can continue to donate through Nov. 26, but those donations will not be matched. We’re helping families stretch their budgets even further this season — with nearly 7,500 rollbacks, budget-friendly meal solutions, and by supporting emergency food donations to local food banks. And for those who want to give back, now through Thanksgiving, Walmart and Sam's Club will match every register donation to local Feeding America® partner food banks — up to $5 million. Together, we can make a real difference in our communities. 💙

Across the country, families are facing increased need—and it takes all of us to help ensure everyone has access to nourishing food. To help meet rising demand, the PepsiCo Foundation is helping expand mobile pantries in communities nationwide – aiming to remove barriers and provide access for neighbors facing hunger. In addition, PepsiCo’s Food for Good program is donating 40,000 shelf-stable meals to help reach even more families. We’re grateful for partners like PepsiCo who show what’s possible when communities come together to support one another. #EndHunger #FoodForGood #CommunityImpact #Partnership

Together, we’re fueling lasting change. 🧡 Ending hunger for good in rural communities—where food insecurity rates are often highest, especially among children—takes the strength of trusted partnerships and shared commitment. We’re proud to join forces with CHS Inc. and CoBank in advancing solutions that build stronger, more food-secure communities. Their generosity and partnership help make long-term impact possible.
With food banks across the country reporting record demand, the CHS Foundation and CoBank are stepping up to help meet the need. Together, we’re donating $2 million to Feeding America to support hunger relief efforts in rural communities—where food insecurity is growing and resources are often limited. Each organization is contributing $1 million to help food banks serve families in agricultural areas, including places where CHS employees, members and customers live and work. 🚨 SNAP Benefits Disrupted for Over 40 million Neighbors For the first time in history, the country’s largest anti-hunger program has been disrupted. Over 40 million people — including hard-working families, kids, seniors, and people with disabilities — have temporarily lost access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) due to the federal shutdown. Across the country, neighbors are doing everything they can to care for their families. Their resilience is extraordinary, but with grocery costs already stretching budgets to the limit, this moment calls for compassion and collective action. Together, we can ensure families and individuals stay nourished through the unexpected and continue to feel the strength of a community that shows up when it matters most. 🧡 Give Now – Your support helps provide meals and hope for neighbors facing hunger: bit.ly/4hrZTts
