Challenges are the single most effective way to get employees moving. 👟 They work because they tap into something deeply human: Community → “I’m doing this with my team.” Accountability → “People will notice if I show up.” Progress → “I’m on a streak — I don’t want to lose it.” Recognition → “My company sees me.” At FitOn, we see this every day: Challenges drive up to 3X more activity and they pull in employees who never engage in traditional wellness tools. And the best part? They make movement fun again. When people enjoy the experience, they keep showing up, long after the challenge ends. One of the simplest, most powerful examples: a step challenge. It’s universal, inclusive, flexible for every role & environment. Steps turn movement into something visible, achievable, and shareable, reminding people that every bit counts. As healthcare costs rise, this is the lever HR teams actually control: Daily habits. Small wins. Shared energy. A sense of “we’re in this together.” If you want your well-being program to feel alive next year, start with one question: What challenge will get your people moving this month? I’m happy to share the ones we’ve seen work best — starting with one of the most powerful: getting your people walking. #EmployeeWellBeing #StepChallenge #WellBeingatWork #HealthyHabits

  • When movement is simple and accessible, people actually do it — and the impact is huge. We’re making those 10 minutes easier to start and easier to stick with. 👟 Take the first step today: https://lnkd.in/g2mnQ2ya

The most important health decision you’ll make in 2026 takes just 10 minutes. Somewhere along the way, we started believing that movement only “counts” if it’s intense - long runs, heavy workouts, big commitments. But the research says the opposite. One global study modeled a simple what-if: What if every employee walked just 15 more minutes a day? The result stunned even the researchers: A $100 billion boost to the global economy. All from a tiny daily habit. And the health benefits are even more compelling: ➡️ People averaging 7,000 steps per day have a 47% lower risk of cardiovascular death and 37% lower cancer mortality vs. those taking 2,000 steps. ➡️ Going from very little movement to just a few thousand steps a day can cut early mortality risk by more than 30%. ➡️ Adults who consistently hit ~8,800 steps per day live 2–5 years longer than their less active peers. A short walk boosts creativity, stabilizes blood sugar, improves mood, and strengthens heart health. Not a drug. Not a supplement. Not a device. A walk. The secret isn’t harder workouts. It’s making movement easy to start and easy to repeat. Habits that require motivation rarely stick. Habits that require 10 minutes do. That’s why at FitOn, we focus on small, repeatable actions that help employees build movement into daily life because that’s where the real change happens: more energy, better focus, less stress, and better long-term health. So here’s the challenge for 2026: Give your teams 10 minutes. Encourage the walk. Model the behavior. Make space for it. Just start with 10 minutes. #workplacewellness #futureofwork #longevity #employeehealth #mentalhealth #productivity

  • We weren’t built to sit all day, but modern work makes it almost impossible not to. The average employee spends 9+ hours a day sitting, and studies show: - Sitting 8+ hours a day increases the risk of early death by up to 60% - It’s linked to higher rates of heart disease, diabetes, and depression - Even people who exercise daily aren’t immune to the risks of prolonged sitting The fix doesn’t require a full workout — just a few minutes of movement, more often. 💡 Here are 6 simple ways to sit less and move more during the workday to help your teams stay healthy, energized, and performing at their best. Because movement isn’t a break from work, it’s what helps us show up better for it. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g2mnQ2ya #WorkplaceWellness #EmployeeHealth #WellbeingAtWork #MovementIsMedicine
