From logistics to leadership, our Team Leaders supported every step of the Summer Startup entrepreneurial journey—and this #TeamLeaderTuesday, we’re celebrating Phoebe Engefu! As a master’s candidate in Supply Chain Management at the University of Kentucky, Phoebe brought analytical skills, logistics expertise, and data-driven decision-making to the table. She helped her teams build smart, scalable ventures with precision: Sensosock - Addressing diabetes limb amputations with a smart sock that monitors foot health. Fynd - Tackling small business marketing challenges with a video platform marketplace to reach younger demographics and make authentic engagement easy and effective. Vibz - Solving social isolation for rural teenagers by creating more welcoming third spaces. Remedy - Addressing medication mismanagement with a device and application that’s personalized to you and your medication needs. A big THANK YOU to Phoebe and all of our Team Leaders, who helped shape the GSE Summer Startup experience for Kentucky's future entrepreneurs!

Each week, we're highlighting the incredible Team Leaders who helped make the GSE Summer Startup experience unforgettable. This #TeamLeaderTuesday, we’re celebrating Emerson Tuttle! An English major at the University of Louisville, Emerson is pursuing a professional and public writing track with a minor in classical studies. She brings her love of language and storytelling to everything she does, inspiring her teams to see how communication and creativity go hand in hand while strengthening collaboration and building confidence along the way. The teams she mentored tackled wide-ranging issues: Float - Addressing health and medical-related misinformation on social media with an AI-powered Chrome Extension. Kyronet - Solving the expansion of AI data centers with unutilized land. AutoTag - Helping police departments save money by creating a high-quality tracker for suspect pursuits. Good Gear - Addressing buyer’s regret in sporting goods with an AI-powered customized survey. Another amazing Team Leader takes the spotlight next week!
