Spreading Water Safety, One Step at a Time On Sunday 17th Aug, the Hemant Govekar Foundation proudly joined the India Day Parade in Queensland to raise awareness about water safety, CPR, and swimming skills. The event was a huge success - reaching a wider audience and reminding our community of the importance of safer waters for all. A special appreciation goes to Aditya Kakad for taking the lead in making this initiative possible. Stay Safe Around Water This Long Weekend! 🌞 As many in Australia enjoy the long weekend with beach trips and water activities, it's important to remember to stay safe around the water. The Hemant Govekar Foundation encourages everyone to have fun while keeping water safety a priority. Water Safety Tips for This Weekend: 1. Always swim at patrolled beaches and between the flags. 2. Check weather and surf conditions before heading out. 3. Never swim alone and keep an eye on your group. 4. Avoid alcohol when swimming or supervising others. 5. Always wear a Lifejacket when boating, fishing and kayaking.
