Building stronger families

About us

We're Jovie. Smart, capable, human, full of joy. Ready to help build stronger families with our vetted and savvy team of professional nannies and babysitters.  For modern parents, finding the proper childcare can feel like another task on a never-ending to-do list. That's why Jovie takes the tough stuff off their plate: screening, hiring, training, and payroll. So they can skip to the best part— meeting a nanny or sitter who feels like part of the family. Jovie's childcare services extend beyond the home as the nation's leading event care provider for corporate functions, weddings, and professional sports teams. Our experienced caregivers are equipped to be ready for anything, including stepping in for center care staffing and employer-subsidized back-up childcare. We've always done this work before as College Nannies and Sitters, and we continue it now as Jovie.  Over the last 20+ years, we've served over 350,000 families in 150 territories across the U.S. In 2016, we became part of the Bright Horizons Family of Childcare Solutions as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

If you lead people, you’re in the business of care, whether you planned for it or not. I’ve spent the past year listening to what employers are doing (and not doing) to support working families. My takeaway is: Those who treat care as a core business value are seeing the difference, not just in retention, but in performance, loyalty, and culture. My article today unpacks what I’ve learned in those conversations and why this shift matters more than ever. Take a look and let me know what you think >>

    Marketing Leader for Mission-Driven Companies

Receiving this leadership award is deeply meaningful to me. For years, as an individual contributor across different organizations, I often asked myself—and sometimes my leaders—Do I have what it takes to be a great manager? Can someone lead with both strength and empathy, earning respect while being genuinely liked? Is it possible to drive meaningful results without compromising humanity and heart? The past two years at Jovie and Bright Horizons have given me a resounding “yes.” I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow under the guidance of inspiring leaders who have empowered me to show up fully for my team and support their professional journeys. I’m equally proud to be part of an organization that truly lives its values—championing strong families and uplifting working mothers every single day.
