What if AI could see the problems coming before you do? We're on the edge of an era where construction risk management gets a complete transformation. The data already exists. It's in your applications, your project files and your performance records. But right now, it's impossible for any human to connect all the dots fast enough to matter. Hopefully in a short period of time AI will be advancing toward what we simply can't do: analyze massive datasets in real-time, identify hidden patterns and surface the risks that would otherwise blindside us. This would be a fundamental shift in how proactive we can be. 🎙️ Episode [10] of the Build Different Podcast "[AI in Construction: Risks, Rewards and What’s Next]" is LIVE NOW. Listen Here: https://lnkd.in/e963C36v This is the conversation you don't want to miss. #BuildDifferentPodcast #ConstructionTech #EnablingInnovation

That's a wrap on the SAME Small Business Conference 2025! Thank you to every engineer, program manager, small business owner and government contractor who stopped by our booth. The Kahua team had three days of honest conversations about what's really happening on the ground: compliance that feels like it’s working against you, technology that adds more friction than flow, processes that can’t keep up with growth and that constant tug between speed and accuracy. SAME SBC gave us the space we needed to uncover real problems and work toward better solutions. We are already looking forward to next year! Our CTO Colin Whitlatch took the stage at Microsoft Ignite 2025 last week and we still aren't over it! He joined Microsoft and other technology leaders from around the globe to explore how responsible AI is reshaping business operations and making a tangible impact. In his session "AI Enterprise Value: Real World Applications," Colin discussed how organizations can move beyond experimentation to implement AI solutions that will positively reshape how work gets done in complex enterprise environments. At Kahua, we're using AI to simplify complexity today while building toward a future where teams can work smarter, faster and with greater confidence. During his session, Colin highlighted two main elements that we are introducing to our platform. The first is Kahua AI, a built-in capability that brings intelligence directly into daily user experience: helping construction teams search, summarize, structure and act on information with interactive, integrated AI. Online or offline, teams can turn unstructured information into real-time actionable insights that improve collaboration and decision-making. The second is kBuilder Canvas, the no-code evolution of kBuilder (Kahua's proven low-code platform builder), enhanced with Kahua AI intelligence. Customers and partners can design and deploy custom solutions in minutes, using chat prompts, without coding expertise or lengthy development cycles. Thank you to Microsoft for the platform to discuss the future of AI in enterprise technology! We are honored to be a part of the innovation that is happening today. Last month we asked the Build Different Podcast community: “What construction challenge should we tackle next on the podcast?” After a week of responses, the clear winner was “Tech Implementation.” That was proof that you’re wrestling with the same digital transformation questions we hear every day from owners, GCs and subs across the industry. So instead of guessing what you want to hear, we want to hand the mic back to you. Tell us which part of tech implementation keeps you up at night or gets you most excited and we’ll bring in the exact experts and stories that help you solve it. Big ideas shape the future of construction and these two bring the kind of perspective you don’t want to miss. On December 4, Build Forward is bringing together: • Steve Jones (Dodge Data & Analytics) on what it really takes to become a data-centric owner • Dr. Anirban Basu (Sage Policy Group) with an economic outlook you’ll actually use If you're leading major programs or navigating uncertainty, this is your room. Ever stop and think about how much of our daily life would feel like magic to anyone who lived a few hundred years ago? Kahua Chief Evangelist Nicholas Johnson did and his latest Thanksgiving reflection puts modern comfort into perspective in a way only someone who’s spent decades in construction and technology can. He reminds us that everything we rely on (clean water, safe homes, power, connectivity, transportation, even the ability to flip a switch and get instant light) exists because of the people who build and the technology that supports them. If you need a moment of perspective heading into the holiday, this one hits in all the right ways. 👉 Read Nicholas Johnson’s Thanksgiving reflection: Fit for a King: A Thanksgiving Reflection on the Infrastructure We Take for Granted https://lnkd.in/eUSd7XWE
