  • Logan Health has recognized Addison Richman, a standout senior at Shelby High School, as the latest recipient of the Winslow Nichols Leadership Award. The announcement came as a surprise during Richman’s senior business class, celebrating her exceptional leadership and dedication to academics and community service. “Addie shows compassion to all of her peers and maintains positive relationships with school staff, who hold her in high regard,” said Ronnie Watterud, Shelby Junior/Senior High School Counselor. “Her organization, communication and time management skills make her a positive leader among her peers in all areas.” https://lnkd.in/gyGRy9Kr

  • It was great to host Peterson Elementary for a surgical field trip today at Logan Health Medical Center! Students practiced opening chocolate Kiss wrappers with the da Vinci robotic system, listened to the heartbeats of their classmates with stethoscopes, explored real lungs and hearts, tried out the Ion endoluminal system and more! We hope it piqued an interest in the world of health care!

  • This week, Logan Health launched a new Ear, Nose and Throat specialty service, expanding access to care for patients of all ages. Led by Anna Knisely, MD, FARS, board-certified Otolaryngologist, this new service provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head and neck for patients of all ages — from children with recurrent ear infections, recurrent tonsillitis, obstructive sleep apnea, and adults with nose, sinus and breathing disorders. A native of Libby, Montana, Dr. Knisely was thrilled to have the opportunity to return to northwest Montana to care for patients in her home region. “Returning to northwest Montana to create this new program is incredibly meaningful,” said Dr. Knisely. “I strongly believe Montanans deserve the best kind of care and am excited to collaborate with excellent physicians in the Flathead Valley and beyond.” https://lnkd.in/eW7AjAWp
