"Too many organizations aim for the modest goal of breaking even, after years of learning to equate that with 'success.' At Mirah, we believe that’s the wrong benchmark." This week, Patrick Luizzo dives into the “just break-even” mindset that has long constrained behavioral health organizations and explains how the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) can drive better care and stronger financial outcomes. Turning Data into Better Care: Eliot’s Leadership in Measurement-Based Care This week, Eliot leaders Kerry Rivard, Meaghan James, and Aaron Katz joined Dr. Jill Donelan of Mirah to present at the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association Conference in Raleigh, NC — sharing Eliot’s journey in implementing Measurement-Based Care (MBC) across behavioral health services. Their session, “Turning Data into Better Care: Leadership Perspectives on Measurement-Based Care,” explored how integrating data-driven insights into everyday clinical practice transforms outcomes and culture. At Eliot, MBC is not just a system—it’s a mindset of “Collect, Share, Act.” 📊 45% of clients with moderate to severe well-being challenges show significant improvement (WHO-5). 💬 75% of clients with suicide risk achieve reduced risk levels through CAMS treatment. 🧠 49% of those with anxiety and 46% with depression see meaningful symptom reduction (GAD-7, PHQ-9). Eliot is proud to be featured as a national example in Bright Spots in Measurement-Informed Mental Health Care by West Health and Mosaic: 👉 https://hubs.ly/Q03Pp2B10 #MeasurementBasedCare #BehavioralHealth #DataDrivenCare #EliotInspires #CFHA2025 #IntegratedCare #MirahHealth

The power of Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) is transformative, yet knowledge of the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) remains low amongst primary care providers. For those new here, in our latest article, Tyrena M. Lester, LICSW, explains how the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) bridges the gap to mental health support in primary care. The Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) continues to demonstrate treatment effectiveness in pediatric settings! Magellan Health just released a new white paper showing how the CoCM is transforming behavioral health outcomes for kids. In one pediatric clinic (~7,900 patients): • 84% of referred children enrolled • 56% stayed engaged or graduated • 40% reduction in PHQ-A scores It’s powerful evidence that when behavioral health is integrated into primary care, access improves, providers are supported, and kids thrive. We’re always improving. Because care never stops evolving. At Mirah, we believe a great product isn’t something you build once and walk away from—it’s something we are continually refining in collaboration with our customers. That’s why we’re excited to share that our Measurement-Based Care platform, through a partnership with Proem Behavioral Health, now includes the Children’s Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (CY-BOCS II) © Goodman, Rasmussen, Price, & Storch, 2011 CY-BOCS II is the gold standard tool for assessing symptom severity in pediatric OCD. By including this measure in our library, we’re giving clinicians, like our partners at InStride Health, a powerful way to: 🔹 Monitor progress with greater precision 🔹 Tailor treatment plans based on real-time data 🔹 Facilitate shared decision-making with youth and families 🔹 Support earlier intervention and better long-term outcomes As always, we’re listening to the field—and building with intention. Whether you’re in primary care, outpatient therapy, or a specialty setting, Mirah's tools are designed to support high-quality, evidence-based care at scale. We are grateful to the teams at InStride Health and Proem Behavioral Health for their collaboration. #MeasurementBasedCare #PediatricMentalHealth #OCD #BehavioralHealth #IntegratedCare #Proem #instridehealth

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov), HHS estimates that by 2036, we will be short more than 14,000 psychiatrists and tens of thousands of other mental health professionals. With primary care providers struggling to identify available behavioral health clinicians, many patients are left waiting weeks or months before accessing therapy or psychiatric care. Jessica Lyons MS, LMFT, outlines how the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) offers an interesting solution: Bachelor's-level Care Managers. Read about it here: https://bit.ly/3JQJYYY
