The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs has activated its Winter Termination Program, ensuring that eligible households—including those that faced delayed SNAP benefits after the recent federal shutdown—will not have their utilities shut off through March. Team DCF goes Above and BEE-yond! Last month Team DCF Mercer North, Ewing HS Girls basketball and soccer teams, and The Latest Dish Food truck, worked together to give a Trunk or Treat night for their resource families! Staff dressed up in fun costumes and everyone had a great time. We thank Mercer North, and all the local offices that held Halloween events for their families, for working so hard to keep their communities #SafeHealthyConnected!

You have an opportunity to engage in and shape the future of child welfare in our state through the DCF Youth Council! Help empower young people in partnership with #TeamDCF's Office of Family Voice. Eligibility: Be between 15-23 years old, and have experience in foster care or the child welfare system, DCF's Regional Schools, or New Jersey's behavioral health system for young people, (CSOC/PerformCare) in out-of-home care.
