John DiGiovanni, PMP, GISP answered the "Show Me State" participating in a GIS Panel at Northwest Missouri State University, and Arron Lee, CP headed out to the Kane County, IL GIS day event. Big news: NV5 is now an official partner of UP42! NV5 is our first LiDAR data provider. LiDAR (which stands for Light Detection and Ranging) sensors send out light pulses, collecting the returned data in the form of point clouds, where every point contains data including longitude, latitude, and elevation.
