Last week, Executive Deputy Chief Information Officer Jenson Jacob and other ITS team members participated in the Public Sector #AI Summit, hosted by the Social Innovation + Change Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School. The discussions centered on the challenges and benefits of using AI in state and local governments, and the team shared how ITS is implementing these tools for our workforce responsibly and efficiently.

ITS spotlights Kriste McNall, an ITS 4 with the Parks/APA Dedicated Team. Kriste is always willing to go above and beyond. She recently built and launched a SharePoint site, related to the PGA Ryder Cup, on a very tight timeline and with limited resources, finishing ahead of the deadline. When not helping her team, Kriste loves travel, and spend quality family time with her two sons.

Samuel is relatively new to ITS, and he has spent his first year on the job learning more about different operating systems. He believes that information sharing, as well as empathy, is crucial to a successful and effective team. He is never afraid to ask questions to get the job done. When not at a keyboard, Samuel can likely be found at a professional basketball game, and he is almost halfway to his goal of visiting every arena.
