Real Impact. Real Stories: Putting Patients First. We recently called a patient who had a question about their cholesterol medication. The patient thought the dose had been increased, but their latest refill didn't reflect this change. The practice was closed, but our Patient Advocate followed up with the provider the next morning. After speaking with them, we discovered that the patient was supposed to be on a higher dose and needed another medication - and a follow-up appointment. Because of that one call the right prescription was sent and an appointment was scheduled. And a real health risk was avoided.
