  • We’re proud to share the next chapter in One Off Hospitality’s story: avec will be expanding to Highwood, IL in Spring, 2026. This marks the third location for our beloved concept—named "Restaurant of the Year" at this year's Jean Banchet Awards—joining Chicago’s West Loop and River North neighborhoods. With each opening, our goal remains the same—bringing people together around thoughtful food, warm hospitality, and community connection. We’re excited to continue growing the avec family and look forward to welcoming guests to our newest home in the northern suburbs.

  • We were thrilled to gather Chicago’s culinary community last month at The Publican to celebrate Chef Rob Levitt in his new role as Chef of the restaurant. Surrounded by fellow chefs, media, and friends of the industry, guests enjoyed a first look at Rob’s new dishes—showcasing thoughtful craftsmanship, vibrant seasonal ingredients, and a fresh vision for The Publican.
