  • 💛 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge 💛 As we celebrate 100 years of caring for our community, our team took on a special challenge: to notice, celebrate, and share moments of kindness happening all around us. Every time someone did something kind or witnessed it, they wrote it on a Post-it note and added it to our growing “Kindness Wall.” From staff helping one another through busy shifts, to our Food & Nutrition team greeting everyone with a warm smile, to everyday moments of encouragement and compassion, each note reminded us what makes PBRMC special. Thank you to every employee who participated and helped spread positivity across our hospital. Here’s to carrying this spirit of kindness into the next 100 days and beyond! 💛✨ #100ActsofKindness #SpreadKindness

This recognition reflects the dedication, compassion, and collaboration of every physician who brings our mission to life each day. Their engagement at our hospital remains exceptionally strong with active contributions in patient care/outcomes, leadership, and innovation.  When our providers feel supported and valued, our patients and community feel it too. PBRMC shared this award with our medical staff and presented it to our physician leadership team: Silvia Pagoada, MD, Vice Chief of Staff; Roland Njoh, MD, Chief of Staff;  and S. Preston Jones, MD, Immediate Past Chief of Staff. • 💙Prostate Cancer Awareness Month💙 This month, we’re encouraging men to take charge of their health by staying informed and up to date on important screenings—starting with prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men, but early detection through regular screening can make a life-saving difference. Talk with your healthcare provider about when you should begin prostate cancer screening, especially if you’re over 50 or have a family history. Other key screenings men should consider: ✅Blood Pressure – Helps identify risk for heart disease and stroke ✅Cholesterol – Monitors heart and vascular health ✅Blood Glucose – Detects diabetes or prediabetes ✅Colorectal Cancer – Recommended starting at age 45 ✅Lung Cancer – For current or former smokers aged 50–80 ✅Skin Checks – For early detection of skin cancer ✅Mental Health Screenings – Your emotional health matters too Taking time for preventive care is one of the best investments men can make in their long-term health. Schedule an appointment with your Primary Care Provider today at 573-778-1277 or visit https://lnkd.in/gPChYjz8 📷 ICU Team
