Precast concrete brought many benefits to The Delecor, a main one bringing the intent of architect to life. For this project, precast concrete producer, BPDL Béton Préfabriqué, manufactured 750 precast concrete panels for the façade. Precast concrete minimized waste and reduced the amount of people on site, in turn helping meet tight construction deadlines. This project is a great example of the versatility, resilience, and innovation of precast concrete that will allow The Delecor to serve the city and its residents well for decades to come. Today, we celebrate FINFROCK'S 80th Anniversary 🎉 marking eight decades of progress driven by innovation and the people behind it. What started in 1945 with precast fabrication has evolved into an integrated design-build company shaped by new ideas, lessons learned, and the commitment of the people who carried it into each new era. Over 80 years, we’ve built more than structures. We’ve built new ways of working, new technologies, long-standing relationships, and opportunities that continue to shape the communities around us. Our history reflects pivotal moments that moved us forward: adopting pre-stressed concrete in the 1950s, expanding into structural building systems in the 1970s, embracing full design-build in the 1990s, and developing the DualDeck Building System in more recent years. Each milestone was made possible by the dedication and ingenuity of the teams who continually worked to build something better. To everyone who has contributed to this journey, both past and present, we thank you. Inspired by the surrounding environment and important site culture, Turkish Petroleum Headquarters was designed with a visually striking aesthetic made possible through the installation of more than 2500 glass-fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC) panels. Precast concrete was an adaptive and creative solution for this office space overlooking the Black Sea. Precast concrete helped to create a resilient and innovative structure which could handle environmental challenges, including saltwater and intense UV exposure. This project is a 2025 PCI Design Award International Structure Honorable Mention.
