Meet Andrey Statkevskiy, an Assembly Technician II on our Operations team. Andrey joined Persistent Systems in May 2024, and in just a short time, he’s demonstrated exceptional skill and a drive for growth, earning a promotion earlier this year. Andrey completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering at the The City University of New York in 2021. In 2022, he expanded his skillset by studying web development at Fullstack Academy, and later that year, he embarked on a cultural and language immersion journey in Japan. There, he mastered conversational Japanese and met his future wife - a life chapter that reflects both his adaptability and perseverance. His journey to Persistent began when he discovered our YouTube channel in early 2024. Andrey was instantly drawn to our unique integration of software, hardware, and advanced applications - all developed under one roof, right here in New York City. “What I love most about Persistent is the culture of innovation and the opportunity to grow alongside talented people who genuinely care about the products we build and the customers who rely on them,” Andrey says. “It’s inspiring to see how our work directly contributes to mission-critical communication.” Thank you, Andrey, for your dedication and the passion you bring to our team every day. If you’re inspired by stories like Andrey’s and would like to join a company at the forefront of tactical networking technology, explore current opportunities at Persistent Systems.

Extend your network to airborne assets with the Airborne Wave Relay® System (AWRS) - our Federal Aviation Administration-certified MANET solution built to integrate seamlessly with common fixed wing platforms, transforming them into powerful airborne networking assets. Designed specifically for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, AWRS keeps dismounted warfighters in direct communication with airborne platforms by: 🔹 Streaming live video and sensor data to the ground 🔹 Providing edge connectivity in denied or contested environments 🔹 Enabling camera control right from the operator’s MPU5 radio 🔹 Accelerating decision cycles with real-time situational awareness From border security to special operations, AWRS delivers resilient airborne networking that extends the tactical edge, making teams faster, smarter, and more synchronized. Armada International recently featured Persistent Systems in an article by Dr. Thomas Withington, examining how the US Army is advancing its Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiative in preparation for Project Convergence Capstone-6 in 2026. Our Wave Relay® MANET architecture, together with MPU5 tactical radios and PT5 cellular modems, has been selected to equip the Army's 4th Infantry Division, serving as the foundational communications layer for battalion-level and below. These systems link sensors, soldiers, vehicles, and command posts, accelerating decision-making and enabling true multi-domain operations. This reflects ongoing collaboration with PEO C3N and reinforces the importance of commercial technology in modern military communications. “Unmanned platforms will be a very important part of the way future wars are fought. … Just the idea of survivability for human beings, to drive cost and time in ways that manned systems do not.” – Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War. The battlefield is evolving rapidly. Unmanned systems are no longer secondary assets, they’re often the first to move, scout and engage, reducing risk to personnel while accelerating operational reach and speed. Persistent offers ready-to-integrate solutions that provide reliable connectivity, bidirectional video transmission, and edge computing power for UAS platforms of all sizes, in even the most congested and contested RF environments. Whether in the air, on land or at sea, Persistent Systems’ MANET and BLOS solutions deliver the resilient communications, real-time situational awareness and connectivity required to dominate the information domain.

Team-building doesn’t stop at the workplace; it’s an essential part of what makes Persistent Systems such a strong and connected organization. The Logistics Team recently held its first team-building event outside the office, and it was a hit! They spent the evening at Live Axe in SoHo, sharing laughs, enjoying great food, and bonding over axe throwing and a smash room experience. It’s events like these that strengthen our bonds and remind us that teamwork goes far beyond the office walls. Want to be part of a team that works hard and has fun together? Wave Relay® secures data-in-transit by leveraging CNSA 2.0-recognized commercial encryption, allowing warfighters to operate with a quantum-resistant network. As adversaries develop more advanced computing capabilities, traditional encryption will become obsolete; but Persistent Systems is staying ahead of the threat with cryptographic defenses designed to withstand quantum attacks. In high-risk national security events, secure and resilient communication is mission-critical. A breach in network security can expose troop movements, disrupt coordination, and jeopardize operational success. That’s why Persistent provides continuous security updates at no cost, ensuring that warfighters always have the latest protections. With Wave Relay’s zero-trust security architecture, teams can operate with confidence, knowing their communications remain protected in contested environments. How does security impact your mission?
