In this field demo, RDO tillage expert Tyler Z. breaks down how Deere’s autonomous-ready tractors monitor their surroundings and manage tillage work. Sixteen perception cameras provide a full 360-degree view, allowing the machine to detect obstacles and stop as needed. From there, Tyler shows how settings like gang angle, basket pressure, go-to points and more can be adjusted through Ops Center Mobile. This allows operators the same control they’d expect from in-cab tillage, but from wherever they’re working next. For customers working within tight operating windows, that combination of visibility and remote control is what helps them gain acres without adding hours. 🎥 See the field run and learn more about autonomous tillage 👇

Product Specialist, Rick S., has been a trusted partner to customers and teammates in Riverside, CA for 35 years. His journey started long before RDO with early morning newspaper routes and door-to-door sales at age 12. Those jobs taught him grit, but it’s his drive to exceed expectations that’s defined his career. Rick brought his Vermeer experience to RDO Equipment Co. in 2004. Last year, his peers acknowledged his impact by presenting him with the Vermeer Service Legacy award, an achievement he takes great pride in. He’s proud of the teams he’s worked with and the shared passion for delivering excellent service. “Without a great team, none of the other values we strive for would be possible.” We’re thankful for Rick’s commitment to doing the job right and helping others do the same. Congrats on 35 years, Rick!
