Bryan Krieger, Senior Property Claims Adjuster at SageSure, approaches every challenge as a chance to create something positive—whether he’s helping policyholders rebuild after a loss or giving animals a second chance at life. He and his wife April have built Fabled Farm Rescue & Sanctuary for abused and neglected animals on a 6.5-acre farm they call home. This nonprofit gives second chances to equines, farm animals, and cats—especially those often passed over due to age, medical needs, or behavioral challenges. In just six years, the Kriegers' passion project has grown from a small rescue into a thriving sanctuary that has helped find forever homes for over 500 animals. Property insurance fraud is the third most costly category of insurance fraud, with billions lost annually. At SageSure, our Special Investigations Unit is committed to protecting our policyholders from those costs and has been an official supporter of Fraud Week for four consecutive years. This year during #FraudWeek, we’re equipping our teams with new tools and offering 10 hours of expert training to better detect, investigate, and prevent property insurance fraud. Fraud drives up costs—diligence keeps insurance fair for everyone.

Last week, SageSure volunteers joined community members, the Camp Fire Restoration Project, and the Arbor Day Foundation to mark the 7th anniversary of the Camp Fire. Together, we planted 100 trees and distributed 300 more, including fruit trees, oaks, and native species. During the event, we paused for a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives in the Camp Fire and reflect on the fire’s lasting impact. Today, we pause to honor and thank all those who have served—and continue to serve —in the US Armed Forces.
