This year, Sharebite once again proudly sponsored City Harvest’s Repack to Give Back campaign – which brings volunteers together to pack food for New Yorkers in need during the holiday season. Last week, a group of our team members gathered at City Harvest’s warehouse to repack produce and embrace the Thanksgiving spirit. It was a full house! Alongside our friends at TroopHR and several other volunteer groups, we helped repack over 5,000 apples. 🍎 Thank you to Max Slepian, Megan Crotts, Vienna Stivala, Alexandra Hill, Will Pang, Mojdeh Kamaly, and all of our team members who have volunteered this year for doubling down on our mission to get every worker fed by helping feed those in need. ❤️ #RepacktoGiveBack #GiveBack #NYC #WeAreCityHarvest

So Sharebite is back on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list (fastest growing tech companies in North America), for the second year in a row. We were #35 last year, and this year, #79 — Adam, Vineeth and I got to celebrate alongside many of our friends, clients, and partners at the NYSE. The world’s most innovative companies trust us to feed their teams. That responsibility, combined with our mission to get every worker fed, drives everything we do. What makes this year even more special is that we’ve turned mission into momentum, without losing our center: - 19+ consecutive quarters of growth - Over 20x revenue growth in ~4 years - A team that raises the bar, every single day Yesterday was our best day ever. Last week, our best week ever. Last month, our best month ever… And thanks to you all, I hope to have the privilege of continue saying that for a very long time. I’m proud of our growth, but I’m even more proud of our direction. And I won’t be satisfied until the factory shift worker, the transit worker, the steel mill worker, the oilfield worker, etc. — all have access to an employer-sponsored meal stipend, just like our clients do today. Let’s build. 🚀🌎 P.S. Barry Salzberg, I hope you’re proud.

  • THIS JUST IN: Deloitte named Sharebite the 79th fastest-growing tech company in North America – our second year making the list! 📈 To our team, corporate clients, restaurant partners, and charitable partners at Feeding America and City Harvest: thank you. This recognition is a testament to what we've accomplished together. Here's to redefining the way companies feed their employees, wherever they are. We are still just getting started.🚀 #Deloitte500 #Fast500 #Deloitte #FastestGrowingTechCompanies

Yesterday’s conversation with Gov. Wes Moore reminded me of how desperate we are for leaders who are willing to confront the reality of hunger in America head-on. Today, that conversation continues on a national stage: my op-ed in Fortune just went live (link in comments). In it, I make two core arguments: 1) America needs more than a safety net — it needs a trampoline to protect the American Dream for generations to come. 2) Hunger is the canary in the coal mine. Solving it isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s economically necessary. I wrote this piece because hunger in America is not a political talking point. It’s a workforce issue, a healthcare issue, and an economic competitiveness issue. And right now, millions of workers *still* don’t know where their next meal is coming from… Business leaders don’t have the patience to sit around waiting for Washington to figure this out. At Sharebite, we serve some of the most important and innovative companies in the world — and we’ve seen firsthand how consistent access to nutritious meals is transformational for employees, workplaces, and entire communities. To be honest, those proof points aren’t enough, and this moment requires something bigger: a national commitment from all of us. My hope is that this piece sparks meaningful discussion and more importantly, immediate action. Because if the past several weeks have taught us anything, it’s that the ideals we hold true are being held together by a fragile fabric. The debate around SNAP (and the hunger crisis beneath it) shows how quickly those threads can begin to unravel. Despite all of this, I remain an optimist. More than 40 countries around the world have already mobilized the private sector to help solve hunger. There is no reason America can’t do the same. The best days for this country are still ahead — and American Dynamism begins with solving hunger. I look forward to continuing my conversations with elected officials & business leaders on how we can come together to address one of the most important issues facing our country today.

Today, I had the privilege of speaking with Gov. Wes Moore of the great State of Maryland about the hunger crisis in America — and how the recent government shutdown exposed deep vulnerabilities across the country. What I’ve always appreciated in my conversations with Governor Moore over the past year is his willingness to approach these issues with a balanced, practical lens, and to embrace private-sector innovation as part of the solution. Hunger isn’t a partisan issue, and its solutions shouldn’t be either. We have a real shot at sustainably addressing hunger in this country if we mobilize the private sector alongside strong public leadership. Now, more than ever, it’s time to rethink how companies can be incentivized and activated to ensure no worker (or family) in America goes hungry. Most people don’t just need a safety net — they need a trampoline to help them bounce back with dignity & stability. We’re on the cusp of meaningful progress, and I’m proud to contribute to that effort. At the end of the day, food security is national security. Excited to help map this out with you, Gov. Wes Moore!

Every Friday, the entire team gets lunch on the house. Costa Mesa office, Raleigh office, remote workers—everyone. Here’s how this turned into a core part of our culture 👇 When we launched Friday Lunches, it was to peel the team away from their computers and connect with each other, even if it's just for an hour. We use an app called Sharebite to get it ordered. KB’ers choose whatever they want from local restaurants and we eat lunch together. And because we know I'm a yapper, here's the part I'm most excited about ✨ We're now trialing Virtual lunch hours. → Two time blocks every Friday where people can hop on, eat together, and just hang out. No agenda. No work talk unless someone brings it up. → The lunch hour assigned to a timezone. Our team can bring a coffee, afternoon snack… whatever. Just show up and visit with people. This new take on our Friday lunch might seem small, but here’s why I think it’s huge for remote agency culture like ours: Remote work without intentional connection is just people working alone. And agency life moves fast—we're hiring, we're growing, clients need things yesterday. Friday Lunch is our way of saying: slow down for an hour. Eat something good. Talk to your teammates. Remember why you like working here. I would love to hear from other People Ops folks... what are some small, but mighty changes you’ve made that had a big impact on culture? 👇️
