  • At Thierman Design & Consulting, when we work with galleries and artists, we focus on creating interiors that enhance how art is experienced. Our latest project highlights Lernen, a series by Gabriel Cohen presented exclusively by Zamera Gallery. The space was carefully designed to complement the artworks, with lighting, materials, and layout all chosen to frame and elevate each piece. Partnering with Zamera Gallery allowed us to explore the intersection of art and design, demonstrating how a thoughtfully curated environment can deepen the impact of a collection. The project reinforces our commitment to creating spaces that are not only visually compelling but also experiential, engaging viewers in a way that goes beyond the canvas. We are excited to continue exploring such partnerships where design and art meet, and where every project tells its own story. #InteriorDesign #ArtAndDesign #GalleryDesign #LuxuryInteriors #ExperientialDesign #GabrielCohen #ZameraGallery #ThiermanDesign #ArtCuration #DesignForArt

  • Do We Need Chometz Spaces and Matzah Spaces? A Pesach Reflection from an International Designer and French-Registered Architect As we prepare to pause for the chagim and step into a time of spiritual and physical renewal, we’re sharing this reflection from our founder. We’ll return from this transforming journey after April 21st, ready to design with fresh energy and deepened intention.

Do We Need Chometz Spaces and Matzah Spaces? A Pesach Reflection from an International Designer and French-Registered Architect As we clean our homes before Pesach—removing every last crumb, scrubbing, sorting, letting go—I always find myself returning to another layer of meaning within this mitzvah. There’s something profound happening beneath the surface: a process of working on ourselves, our midos. The search for chometz isn’t just about physical cleanliness; it’s about inner clarity—a spiritual bedikat chometz, the removal of what has become inflated. But as an architect, I can’t help but ask: can we apply this concept to the spaces we live in too? What would it mean to search for the chometz in our environments—the clutter, the excess, the overstimulation—and make room for something lighter, quieter, freer? We eat chometz most of the year. It has its place. Just like in design—boldness, richness of materials, layered expressions—they all have their time. But Pesach invites us into a “matzah space”: simple, essential, humble, aligned. Not sterile or empty, but intentional. Balanced. That’s what good architecture strives for, too. Not every client needs a minimalist home. For some, that kind of space can feel anxiogenic—yes, space can trigger anxiety. For others, it’s a bold or overly stimulating environment that causes discomfort. Our role as designers is not to impose a style, but to listen deeply and create environments that help people breathe, flourish, and feel safe. I studied architecture in France, where I also completed an additional year focused on the business and legal responsibilities that come with holding the title of Architecte DE + HMONP. Although I was later registered in Russia, the foundation of my approach has always been rooted in the French architectural philosophy: responsibility, balance, and deep respect for those who inhabit the spaces we create. Yom Shishi is the final day for biur chometz before Pesach 5785. As we clear our homes and minds, it’s the perfect moment to reflect and ask: • What kind of space do I truly need right now? • Where is there too much noise—or not enough nourishment? • Is my environment supporting the way I want to live? The goal isn’t to live in a matzah space all year—just like we don’t eat matzah all year. But Pesach reminds us that we need moments of stillness. Of reset. Of thoughtful design—not just decoration. Wishing you an uplifting, spacious, and joyful Pesach. May your home be a reflection of your deepest values. • AI in Architecture & Design: A Tool for Dreaming or a Work in Progress? Innovation in architecture means constantly pushing boundaries. AI is now generating design concepts in seconds, offering exciting possibilities. But can it truly assist architects in creating functional spaces, or is it just another visual tool without real-world application? Where AI Falls Short in Architecture AI-generated designs can be striking, but they often lack spatial logic. A layout might include staircases that lead nowhere or spaces that disregard fundamental architectural principles. This raises an important question: Why does AI integrate so well into Photoshop but struggle with BIM tools like Revit? Key Differences: Photoshop vs. Revit Architecture Requires More Than Aesthetics – AI struggles with spatial flow, building codes, and how spaces function and feel. Data & Training Gaps – AI tools like MidJourney generate visually compelling spaces but don’t consider gravity, accessibility, or constructability. Different Goals, Different Expectations – Photoshop’s AI enhances images without structural constraints, while Revit demands precision—every element must be functional and coordinated with engineering requirements. AI’s Real Value: Dreaming, Framing & De-Risking While AI isn’t ready to design fully functional buildings, it can be a valuable tool in the early design process: Dreaming – Exploring bold, unconventional ideas. Framing – Refining those ideas into feasible concepts. De-Risking – Identifying potential design challenges before they become costly mistakes. AI can enhance creativity, but human expertise remains essential for bringing architectural visions to life. What’s Next? How do you see AI evolving in architecture? Can it bridge the gap between creative potential and practical application? At Thierman Design & Consulting, we combine cutting-edge tools with over 17 years of architectural expertise and a client-centered approach to transform ideas into reality. Let’s explore how AI can shape the future of design together. full article : https://lnkd.in/ez43iqv7 #AIinArchitecture #ArchitecturalDesign #ArtificialIntelligence #BIM #Revit #AIEthics #FutureOfArchitecture #DigitalTransformation #ArchitectureInnovation #AIandDesign #TechInArchitecture #MachineLearning #DesignThinking #SmartDesign #ArchitecturalTechnology
